This painted, 7 1/2" tall cast iron statue is a very early souvenir from visiting the Gettysburg Battlefield. Statue depicts General Meade standing with his hat in one hand, while the other hand rests on his sword.
Base is painted green, with lettering that reads, “GETTYSBURG 1863”. A number, “3” is stamped on the back of base. Paint has lightly worn in areas. [sl]
