This ceremony by the Gettysburg Centennial Commission took place at Gettysburg College and the Soldier’s National Cemetery on November 17-19, 1963. Program shows the schedule of events and speakers, which included General of the Army Dwight D. Eisenhower as the Honorary Chairman and Governor of Pennsylvania William W. Scranton.
