Paperback book was published in 1924. Cover shows an image of General Meade, commander of the Union forces at the battle of Gettysburg. This is an excerpt from the book, “THE LIFE AND LETTERS OF GEORGE GORDON MEADE”, which was compiled and edited by his son, also named George Gordon Meade, in 1913. This is Meade’s account of the battle, from the march to Gettysburg, the three days of fighting, and the march after the battle. Contains several illustrated maps.
Measures 6” by 9”. Text contains 109 pages. Book is in very good condition. Binding is tight. Light yellowing has occurred. No tears, a few pages have one small chip on each. [sl]
