Volume is a 1994 reprint by Morningside books and is the work of David and Audrey Ladd. Hardbound cloth covers are blue and gray with crossed US/CS flags at center with the title in gold on the spine.
Book meas. approx. 6.25 x 9.25 inches and runs 729 pages.
Volume is exceptionally clean inside and out. It covers Bachelder’s correspondence from January 5, 1863 to July 27, 1880. Only four letters at the beginning are pre-Gettysburg all the rest cover the battle.
The three volume set that this book is a part of has become hard to find and is very expensive. If you have a broken set that needs only Volume 1 or if you want to begin building a set, here is your chance. [ad]
