Cover of 50th anniversary program shows an image of the Soldier’s National Monument in the Soldier’s National Cemetery in Gettysburg. Title page reads, “BATTLE OF GETTYSBURG SEMI-CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION / THE THREE DAYS’ BATTLE- TURNING-POINT OF THE CIVIL WA / PICTORIALLY TOLD”. Program contains many images of the Gettysburg Battlefield, most of which are William H. Tipton’s photographs. Also featured are images of the Union and Confederate commanders and officers, descriptions of each of the three days of the battle, the Gettysburg Address and a centerfold image of the Gettysburg National Cemetery.

Program measures 10 ½” by 13 ¾”. Paper has yellowed with age. Shows chipping on left and right edges of cover. First page has a ¼” tear on right edge of page. Some light surface dirt and spotting is present.  Cover is loose but inner pages are tightly bound. Eighteen pages total.  [sl]
