Item is in very good condition. Brass face with typical eagle stamping. Light wear to the raised areas. Back has 100% lead fill with two complete wire loops. This plate is for use on the shoulder sling of the regulation infantry cartridge box.  Recovered at Gettysburg.  [jet]
