Hardtack from the Spanish/American War era has a hand inscription reading, “BATTLE OF GETTYSBURG 50TH ANNIVERSARY, JULY 1,2,3,4, 1913 / 1863 1913 / REUNION OF THE BLUE & GRAY”. Hardtack is stamped, “NBC” for the National Biscuit Company, now known as Nabisco.
Hardtack measures three inches square. Some chipping is present on surface. Edges and corners are good. [SL]
