Recovered on the Emmitsburg Road near the position of the 15th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry (Codori Farm). Button has a dark olive patina; complete with shank. Backmark: “Waterbury Button Co.”. . Recovered by local resident and relic hunter Ron Miller. He was the brother of Ed Miller, well known local relic hunter who amassed a large Gettysburg collection.  [ws]
