Souvenir plate shows an image of the Memorial to the Grand Army of the Republic at Gettysburg. The man shown on the monument is Albert Woolson, known as, "the last survivor ", and was the Senior Vice Commander in Chief of the G.A.R. This memorial was dedicated in 1956. Plate is ivory colored, image is in red. Reverse has information on the memorial. Maker's mark reads, WORLD WIDE ART STUDIOS". Gold gilt band surrounds rim of plate.
Plate measures 10.25" in diameter. [sl]
