Remains of the Army issue Civil War “Wire Bail” Tin Cup. This style of cup had a flat button with a wire reinforced handle, still present anchored by a single rivet. Tin Cup appears to have been crushed!
Found on private property within sight of the 20th Maine Infantry Monument on the slope of Little Round Top. Recovered while walking in the woods under leaves two years ago by a local resident know to The Horse Solider. More information will be provided to the buyer. [WS]
