This is an excavated 3” Schenkl case shot shell. Iron surface has some pitting typical of any “dug” relic.  Retains complete combination fuse which has a small dent on top and light pitting but is still in overall good shape. Cleaned and coated; deactivated and safe.

Labels on shell claim it was recovered from Gettysburg.   [jet]
