The full title of this work is “THE LAST FULL MEASURE: BURIALS IN THE SOLDIER’S NATIONAL CEMETERY AT GETTYSBURG” by John W. Busey, published by Longstreet House in 1988 and limited to 1000 copies.
Book is hardbound with blue cloth covers and the title embossed in gold on the front cover and spine. Covers are in very nice condition and mostly clean.
Volume meas. approx. 6.50 x 9.25 inches and runs 228 pages with index. Text contains listings of those men killed or died of wounds at Gettysburg and who are buried in the Soldier’s National Cemetery. Entries are listed by state and give the soldiers name, company, regiment, age, hometown, cause of death and which plot, row and grave they are buried in.
Interior is clean but for twelve or so pages that have two or three light yellow highlights. The former owner highlighted entries of Confederates accidently buried in the National Cemetery. [jp]
