This is a group of Relics that originally came from the Shield’s museum. The contents of the museum were sold at an auction in November of 1985 and the National Park Service tore down the building. It consists of fourteen unfired bullets of various caliber and make. Thirteen either fired or pulled bullets also of various caliber and make. It also includes two iron canister balls, Spencer bullet casing and part of a canteen spout. Artillery is represented by a section of a fuse adapter, a fuse plug and a Boreman fuse. Other items are a 1855 model musket wrench, bayonet tip scabbard, metal parts of a tompin and section of a bore cleaning brush.
