The caption on this stereo says the monument stands on Slocum Ave, in McAllister’s Grove. This regiment was part of the 12th Corps and had 260 men engaged at Gettysburg losing 2 killed and 8 wounded. This monument was erected in 1888. Image is mounted on cream colored stock. Image is a little light at center due to too much sunlight. Caption lists view as stereo number 1572. Item has very light surface dirt from age and storage.
