Built in 1831 and operated as a private boarding school until 1876 when it became a public school system, District No. 9. It was a public school until 1953. Located in Jonesville, Saratoga County, NY. Lots of signatures to research.
Binding is partially separated. Name on fly page is “R. Liston Gray”. There was a Robert Liston Gray in the 93rd New York Infantry who was killed on May 5, 1864 at The Wilderness.
