Stamped white metal 9th Corps badge engraved with cannon barrel and fouled anchor at center. Badge has an engraved linear border and reads “VOL. INF.” across the top and “WAR 1861-5 / OSWOLD Mc LAUGHLIN.” The shield has two small holes at the upper right and left corners and no pin on the back.
