Nicely matted to display, this features several small strands of Lincoln’s hair, and a fragment of the gauze bandage from his death room at the Peterson House. Also included in this display is an image of the President and an image of Lincoln in the Peterson House surrounded by his advisors as he lay on his deathbed.  Fragment originated from the Herman Rudd Collection in Buffalo, New York and was previously in the collection of the Holland Purchase Historical Collection. Hair strands originated from a lock sold at Christies in 2002 from the famous Forbes Collection.

Wine colored mat measures 8” x 10”. Comes with certificate of authenticity attesting to the provenance of these items.   [ld]
