Photo shows a group of eight veterans. Two are standing, while six are seated. All are wearing suits with G.A.R. medals and belt plates. Four are displaying swords. Mount of photo is labeled and shows veteran’s names – George S. Evans, J.L.P. Ackers, M. Doherty, John W. Walker, John Kinnear, H.J. Gray, C.A. Gay and Henry C. Hobbs. Photo is clear with good contrast. Has light surface dirt and spotting. Mat and mount show water stains.  Included are soldier histories on all of the veterans except for Gray.

Wood frame measures 23 ½’ x 29 ½’. Shows scattered small nicks and scratches. Reverse has wire for hanging.  [SL/LD]
