Empty tin is rectangular in shape, jappaned black, and measures 3.5” x 2”, w/.625” tin spout & original cork. Medical label: “38. / USA MEDICAL DEPT. / Prepared at the / U.S.A. Laboratory / Philadelphia / PA / 186_. Sodae et Potassae Tartras.”
Tin is structurally sound with minor dings & tarnish. Jappaned blacking is lightly chipped, as is the yellowing medical label, while remaining legible. Spout cork chipped but serviceable. Else VG. Solid display piece, excellent medical collectible.
