This rounded brass Kittredge + Co. Cartridge Box is in excellent condition with no surface rust. Burnished, copper color patina; shows minor wear.  Shallow dent on lower right front, small red marks left behind. Patent information stamped on spring loaded front flap: “B. KITTREDGE & CO. / PATENTED JAN. 27 1863 / REIUSSED APL. 14. 1863”. These Kitteridge Company cartridge containers were used with Frank Wesson rifle, and famous Henry rifle. Scarce.
