This white canvas belt meas. approx. 38.50 inches long and approx. 2.25 inches wide. It has a “C” belt hook and black brass fittings. The body has 40 loops for .30 ammunition. There is a canvas cloth flap that snaps in place with two very nice blackened eagle snaps. This flap covers the loops and helps keep the cartridges dry. In the center of the back there is a sewn canvas strap with another eagle snap on it that warps around the center of the flap to help hold it in place.

The interior surface of the belt has a nice dark stamping of the silhouette of a rifle round with the name “MILLS” at center. Both of the blackened brass ends are stamped with a similar marking and “MADE UNDER MILLS PATENTS” The opposite side reads “MADE BY MILLS WOVEN CARTRIDGE BELT CO. WORCESTER, MASS.”

Canvas is very clean.
