[See Mullinax, p. 10, plate 006]. Made of Sand-cast red brass, attractively mounted in black riker box, against white embroidery. Medium dark patina, with light corrosion. Outer wreath & inner lettering still sharp. Plate features a convex curve and exaggerated serifs, exhibits red tint due to the high percentage of copper in its ally. Used primarily in the Virginia theatre. Solid display piece, highly collectible.
