The face of this plate has a semi-bright patina. There are some areas of darker spotting. Edge of plate is smooth and free of nicks. The reverse has 100% of the lead fill with both brass puppy paw hooks and tongue. Maker’s mark is present and reads, “BOYD & SONS, BOSTON”.    [sm]
