The face of this plate has a semi-darkened patina, with some brighter areas where original gilt still shows. Edge of plate has some very slight nicks. The reverse has 100% of the lead fill with both iron hooks. Hooks have some light surface rust. Maker’s mark is present and reads, “BOYD & SONS, BOSTON”. [sm]
