Spheroid canteen made entirely of tin with two convex side panels with crimped and soldered edges.

Canteen meas. approx. 6.25 inches across with edges that are 1.50 inches wide. All three sling keepers are present. Spout sits on a slightly raised base and meas. approx. 0.75 of an inch high. The sides of the spout are threaded to take a cap which is now missing.

The body of the canteen is in good condition. It has one shallow dent in one of the side panels. Tin has a nice light patina on its surface.  [ad]
