Standard issue canteen w/dusty brown cover. Smooth and undented, replete with three sling keepers, pewter spout w/cork & ring stopper. Linen sling present, but broken and knotted. Cover worn, w/two small tears, one on each side. Spout marked, “J. HALL, ROHRMAN”. Excellent display canteen, exuding considerable character. This one has definitely done some Civil War campaigning.
