7.375 in diameter, 2,375” in width. 12 piece section rim, 2 iron hoop-rims, 3 sling keepers. Original Linen sling, yellowed with moderate staining & one fragile spot supported by neat tape repair. Drum sides exhibit light scratching & rubbing, along with rich brown patina. The round spout hole—.875”—is missing its cork. Else VG & highly attractive. Excellent representative specimen of CS wooden drum canteen. [jp]
