This insignia consist of an elongated horn with a single twist and tassels. It is made of stamped brass with two wire prongs on the reverse for attaching to a cap or hat. Item meas. approx. 2.50 inches in length.
Item is in very nice unused condition.
These insignia first appeared in 1850 and saw use throughout the Civil War.
