Tin japanned oval case is moderately scratched and worn, mostly on top of lid. Inner case is clean and moderately scratched. Lid is hinged with solid upper handle & side clasp fastener. Measures 5 ¼” high x 9 ¾” wide x 7 ½’ deep.

Underside of lid has maker’s mark that reads, “SHANNON, MILLER & GRANT MILITARY GOODS, 7GS BROADWAY NEW YORK”.  [SM]
