Embroidered artillery crossed cannons insignia done in heavy bullion thread. The backing is the usual black felt oval with a border consisting of a single strand of dead bullion. Between the cannon barrels is an embroidered number “9” also done in heavy bullion thread.
Reverse has an open back.
