Small version of the state of New York Excelsior badge.
Item is of stamped brass and shows an eagle perched atop a shield divided into two halves. The left half depicts the sun rising from behind the mountains and lake while the right half has the stars and stripes. Below the shield is a riband that reads “EXCELSIOR.”
Face is in nice clean condition with crisp detail while the reverse retains both of the attachment loops.
