This three piece set is comprised of the mid-war pattern 1863 bridle leather waist belt along with a brass keeper attachment. Also attached is a pattern 1839 brass & lead filled oval U.S. infantry belt plate (arrow hooks located on the reverse side of this plate, no manufactures marks). The percussion cap pouch (also of bridle leather) dates from mid-war as well, having a partially visible impressed cartouche of the U.S. Ordinance Department Sub-Inspector as well as the manufactures marking of R NECE (Reuben Nece & Company Philadelphia) below.

The waist belt and cap pouch are both in supple condition, but overall surface finishes have crazing and minor losses.
