Leather sword belt is still strong and supple. Leather wraps around and is folded in the center. Measure 39” long x 1 ¾” wide. Leather has some slight crazing.
The plate is a two piece tongue and wreath. The tongue has a single star. The wreath is the usual oak leaf variety. The two pieces do fit together well and are original to the belt.
One end of the belt passes through the keeper on the wreath and is sewn in place. The other end of the belt passes through the keeper on the tongue. This end of the belt has a long adjustment strap attached to it which anchors to a buckle sewn to the inside of the belt. This adjusts size. There are also two sliding leather keepers.
Attached to the belt by two brass rings are long and short sword drops with snap hooks at the end. Both drops are in excellent condition and both snap hooks operate properly.
