Black leather belt is supple with light crazing. All stitching is tight. One side of belt has brass hook which slides into punched holes for size adjustment. Entire length of belt measures 37 inches and is 2 inches wide.

Pattern 1851 officer’s plate features spread-winged eagle on the face with applied silver wreath. Keeper is present. Original gilt is bright. Plate has a bench mark of 562. Keeper has no markings.  [sm]
