Oval Pattern 1839 “US” belt plate that has a cleaned face with light to moderate surface scratches and light indentations from use and age.

Reverse has 100% lead fill and “puppy paw” style posts under the letter “S” instead of the “U.” This reversing of the attachment hooks shows it was meant for use on the Dragoon belt.  [ad]
