Here is a very nice, unissued Model 1839 small pattern U.S. belt and buckle. The buckle is the early small size with only two hooks, measuring 2 ¾” x 1 ½”. Buckle shows no wear and retains a semi-bright brass face. The belt is white buff leather. Measures approximately 1 ½” wide x 38” long with sewn leather keeper. Leather is in excellent condition. This is a very nice early belt and US buckle. [jet]
