Brown leather, with encircled “CS” stamped on front flap. Presents wooden finial at base, and single reverse belt loop, all of which are Confederate characteristics. Plus interior flap, and interior wool. Overall, the leather exhibits light cracking and is moderately scuffed, with stiff reverse loop. Stitching is strong & tight. Finial strap is broken. Else VG, and extremely scarce. Authentic “CS” marked boxes are rarer than hen’s teeth. Magnificent Confederate collectible.
