US CAP BOX

$145.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 381-10

The leather of this percussion cap box is in very good condition overall. The outer flap shows light creases throughout and some minor surface finish loss, but the leather is strong and supple.  The leather underneath has a smooth surface. The latch tab surface is similar to the flap surface. Tab is solid and not torn.

The inner flap is complete with both ears. Stitching is tight.

The interior of the box has remnants of the fleece lining. The pick is not present. The body of the box is strong and the brass finial is present at bottom.

The reverse is also good and has two complete belt loops which are held in place with copper rivets.
