This is a complete leather percussion cap pouch. The leather throughout the box is very pliable allowing the flaps to open. Light wear from rubbing and moderate cracking on surface finish. The outer flap is complete and without tears and has integral closing tab. Tab is unbroken. The interior flap has both ears. The body of the box bears a maker’s mark that reads “C.S. STORMS / MAKER N.Y.” There is no fleece or pick. Bottom has pointy brass finial. Reverse has both belt loops, one of which has separated fron the box at the top. Belt loops are stitched and riveted. Stitching throughout is tight and unbroken. This is a very solid cap pouch with maker’s stamp.  [jet]
