This is a very nice leather percussion cap pouch. The leather throughout the box is slightly stiff but flexible enough in the right places allowing the flaps to open. Light wear from rubbing and minor cracking to surface finish. The outer flap is in very nice condition and features separate closing tab sewn in place. Tab has moderate cracking of finish but is unbroken. The interior flap has both ears firmly sewn in place. The body of the box is in nice condition with small remnant of fleece but no pick. Bottom has pointy brass finial. Reverse has both belt loops. Belt loops were stitched only (no rivets). Stitching throughout is tight and unbroken. Soldier’s initials “J.F.B.” in 3/8”-tall letters are carved on side of pouch. This is a really nice cap pouch. [jet]
