This is a very nice leather US percussion cap pouch. The leather throughout the box is somewhat stiff but flexible in the right places allowing the flaps to open. Light wear from rubbing and moderate cracking on surface finish. The outer flap is complete and without tears, is stamped “US”, and has integral closing tab. Tab is unbroken. The interior flap has both ears and a maker’s mark that reads “STORMS / NY / MAKER”. The body of the box is in nice condition but there is no fleece or pick. Bottom has pointy brass finial. Reverse has both belt loops which are complete and untorn. Belt loops are stitched and riveted. Stitching throughout is tight and unbroken. This is a very attractive cap pouch with maker’s stamps.  [jet]
