This is a very good leather percussion cap pouch. The leather throughout the box is pliable allowing the flaps to open. Light wear from rubbing and some cracking on surface finish. The outer flap is complete and without tears and has integral closing tab. Tab is unbroken. The interior flap has both ears and a smooth, uncracked surface. The body of the box is in very nice condition and bears a strong maker’s mark that reads “C.S. STORMS / MAKER N.Y.” There is no fleece or pick. Bottom has pointy brass finial. Reverse has both belt loops which are complete and untorn. Belt loops are stitched and riveted. Stitching throughout is tight and unbroken. This is a very attractive cap pouch with maker’s stamps.
