Black leather box, 7.25 x 4 x 3”. Two bottom roller buckles with brass flap strap finial. Two interior flaps; five compartment cartridge tin; two reverse straps with 56” x 2.5” buff leather sling attached. All leather surfaces exhibit minor wear at the extremities, with half dozen slight vertical scratches on front flap, with the sling remaining moderately supple while displaying minor soiling. All stitching remains tight and the lower flap finial securely attached. Interior tin is in fine condition. In all, a superb collectible for Enfield aficionados. As handsome an Enfield box and sling as we’ve seen.  [jp]
