The leather on the outer flap is supple and the latch tab is solid. Flap surface has very faint crackling over its face.

The inner flap has both ears and a worn maker’s mark.

Interior has none of the lamb’s wool and no pick. The body of the box is in very good condition with minor surface wear. Brass finial is present at bottom.

Reverse has two complete belt loops that show heavy wear and some surface finish loss. One is torn at top and bottom but has been repaired.  [ad]
