The leather on this box is in good condition. The embossed “US” is very strong and the bottom of the latch-tab is faintly marked “ROCK ISLAND ARSENAL.” The reverse of the box has both belt loops in good condition. The interior has ten woven cloth pockets on each side for holding ammunition. Both the interior and exterior of the box have light surface dirt from age and storage but nothing major. Box opens and closes as it should. [ad]
