This is a complete percussion cap pouch. The leather is clean and the whole piece is in very good overall condition. This pattern has the integral closing tab as an extension of the outer flap. The outer flap shows minor cracking to the finish. The latch tab is unbroken. The interior flap is supple with “E. GAYLORD / CHICOPEE / MASS.” clearly stamped. Both inner “ears” remain firmly sewn in place. No fleece remains. Bottom has brass finial. Both narrow belt loops remain in place on back and are stitched and riveted. All stitching is strong and intact.
