Inner box: Frazier’s patent stamp, “Baker & McKenny/ NY” maker stamp. Of black leather w/brass oval, outer “NG” plate, in early Civil War New York script. Wooden insert for twenty .50-70 cartridges. Outer leather exhibits light scuffing, as well as scuffing of patent and maker markings. Else VG and handsome. Solid New York National Guard collectible. [jp]
