Leather box to hold six packs of cartridges. Standard sized black bridal leather box, with “USN” outer flap marking, and inner flap marking, “NAVY YARD / NY / 1863" with two anchors. Leather shows normal wear with minor cracks and "rubs". Latch tab is present and solid. Inner percussion cap pouch has been removed. Stitching uniformly excellent. The cartridge tin is also missing. Overall good condition. [jet]
