The leather on this box is in good condition despite some light surface crazing.

The front has a brass oval “NJ” plate for New Jersey. Plate has lead filled back. The bottom of the latch-tab which is sewn to the back of the box has a worn mark that reads “ROCK ISLAND ARSENAL”

The reverse of the box has both belt loops which are in very nice condition.

The interior has ten woven cloth pockets on each side for holding ammunition. Both the interior and exterior of the box have light surface dirt from age and storage but nothing major.

Box opens and closes as it should.  [ad]
