Standard Union cap box in fair condition. The outer flap is good with some signs of light scuffing. Inner flap has both ears and light surface dirt. Interior has lamb’s wool but no pick. The body of the box has some finish loss along edges and on the sides. Brass finial is present at bottom. Reverse has both belt loops. The cap box is attached to a thin leather belt that meas. approx. 0.75 of an inch wide. One end has a sewn roller buckle while the other has adjustment holes. A piece of soft leather has been sewn to the middle of the belt for comfort when wearing. It is believed this rig was done up for use when hunting.
